Coming from the UK after building and selling my successful insurance and financial services broking firm, I was one of the founding Management Team at Sovereign Assurance, where I built the network of independent financial advisers which created exceptional growth and value. I then took over running AIA as General Manager and led the company to achieve consistent profitable growth before transferring to Melbourne as Managing Director of AIA Australia, creating dramatic and sustainable success in the newly regulated financial services industry. Since returning to NZ, I have served on the Boards of Fidelity Life, Southern Response Earthquake Services, Lifetime Group Holdings, Kiwi Adviser Network, Provident Insurance, and Foundation North.
